"May I borrow some of your makeup?"
Mick Jagger looked up from the mirror for a sec and pushed the greasepaint over. He had pots of rouge and eyeshadow in front of him. Even a flutter of fake eyelashes.
Donna and I were getting ready to shoot a scene in a movie. We were to ride through the streets of Manhattan in a VW bug convertible and meet cute with Jagger and his band, playing on the back of a flatbed truck. In fact, the backup band had just come into the Green Room.
"Look," I said to Donna. "You can tell just by looking at them who's the drummer, the bassist, the lead guitarist, the keyboard guy." I caught myself. "Sorry, that was mean. Typecasting." (N.B. You really can almost always tell.)
Donna wasn't looking. She was flirting with Jagger. "I think I'm in love," she said.
Why I can't stop: Even in my dreams she gets her man.

there's no way that I wouldflirt with Mick Jagger. are u kidding, Claudia.\? On second thought...Since 1967 he's represented the equintessential bouncing rambunctious penis which has a certain appeal, wouldn't you agree, no?
It's lovely being with you in your dreams, my cherie ever poking delight. Please take me with tonite.
Better dream than that of Ralph Lauren sitting next to me at a dinner party, mad that I didn't wear his clothes 15 years ago - when I was skinny...
Very interesting, but what does it mean? Calling Dr. Freud.
Y Dolor, tu sueno es too funny! Que sinifica esto?
I figure my drem means I should wear more makeyp, and Dolores's means she should lose weight.
Don't forget the corset. I mean, girdle.
The night of the day that the NPS came to remove three of the pottery vases from the Weir House (they are begining to remove and archive objects we sold them in 1993), I had a terrible nightmare.
I dreamt that a small plane crash landed in the living room, and when I went down to investigate, I found that that someone had removed the George Bellows, the Weir pastel, the huge Tina Barney photo, and all the other art from the walls. I ran back upstairs and asked my mother (who was still alive in the dream) if the NPS had done it, and she said "yes".
Boy, if I'm this traumatized by losing 3 vases, it's going to be a hard three months here at Ground Spoon Acres.
